Entry packs: can be picked up from Mullies Marine after 10/09/24 and must be collected prior to the competition commencing. Packs can be mailed at the entrant’s expense.
Competition Rules
This is a total length measurement competition. Entrants may submit a photo of any legal sized fish on the competition brag mat (supplied in comp packs) or similar measuring device. If the fish can’t be displayed in a photo due to size, you must provide video evidence. You may only submit 1 fish per species, if you submit multiples of one species the larger measurement will count. The angler with the longest total length (CM) accrued will be the winner.
Fish and Sharks are to be measured from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail. Squid must be measured with a total hood length measurement. Photos must be clear and the length visible otherwise they may be denied at the judge’s discretion.

Photos must be submitted within the competition times stated below.
Please Note: Competitors must attend Presentation on the 5th of October in order to claim prizes. If a winner is not in attendance the Prize will go to the next highest place holder.

The Competition can be fished from anywhere within Victoria
Presentation:
Presentation will be held at Mullies Marine (56 Gwen Rd, Cranbourne West, 3977) on Saturday 5th of October between 3-7pm.
This will be complimented by a Snapper talk from Lee Rayner, a live podcast from Wind Against Tide, a food truck on site, Prize giveaways and Boats on Display.
Prize Categories:
Adult Prize’s to the value of $4000
Junior Prize’s (Under 12) to the value of $500
Longest Snapper Prize to the Value of $250
Please note: Random prizes will also be given away on the day of presentation at Mullies Marine.
Fisheries and Water Police:
All entrants are to abide by the States Fisheries in regards to licensing, catch and possession limits. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that their water craft and safety gear comply with the Victorian State Safely Rules
Safety Precautions:
All boats are highly encouraged to register with the Coastguard and or with family members. Remember to log off at the end of the day.
Never fish in dangerous conditions. It is the responsibility of the entrants to decide whether conditions are suitable for their craft and the safety of all anglers. All anglers and boats enter this competition at their own risk
